I have been a personal trainer for many years and will objectively lay out the difference between the two.
With in person training, you are paying for a PROCESS, + TIME.
Let's say you see a trainer for 2 hours per week @ $75/session.
You are getting MOTIVATION, FORM CORRECTION, and ACCOUNTABILITY for 120 minutes per week.
Nutrition, Stress Management, Mindset, Behavior change, supplementation are not focused on at all, or just a little bit; not enough to make a real change.

When I was a soccer player, my juggling record was 6,158.
As a fighter, it's the repetetive grind of throwing jabs and crosses day in and day out.
As a bodybuilder it's packing the same meals daily, and performing the same movements to perfection.
Success is found in the mundane.
Finding the joy in journey and only using goals as barometers of progress.
I always asked myself, if I was looking at a map: what would make more sense to do?
A) Follow the directions to the tee in order to arrive at the destination established?
B) Continually stare at the destination and bitch about how I am not there?
Of course, its choice A).
So to answer the question, how long does it take to get to a goal physique?
No idea for most.
But for me, it took 6 consistent, disciplined years that I CHOSE to love.
Aleasha was really struggling to lose her post-pregnancy weight. She tried everything - paleo, not eating much in general, different workout programs, and nothing worked.
After working with Neal, not only has she lost the weight and fit into all her pre-pregnancy clothes... But she also has more energy than she's ever had in her life. She's currently down 15 pounds, and has kept it off since.
